Areas of Passion I Can Help You With In Counselling

Women's Mental Health Counselling

Two Women Chatting

Sessions are offered virtually or in-person

You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from counselling.

Perhaps you're the one everyone relies on, but you're quietly running on empty. You may appear to have it all together while feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from yourself.

Maybe you've been carrying worries that never seem to quiet, feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or wondering why you're so hard on yourself despite doing your best.

Counselling offers a space to slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and reconnect with yourself with compassion rather than criticism.

I support women who may be experiencing:

  • Feeling overwhelmed by the mental load of everyday life

  • Constant worry, overthinking, or difficulty relaxing

  • Feeling emotionally drained, numb, or unlike yourself

  • Struggling in relationships or finding it difficult to communicate your needs

  • People-pleasing, perfectionism, or difficulty setting boundaries

  • Feeling like you've lost confidence or don't recognize yourself anymore

  • Burnout from trying to be everything for everyone

  • Major life changes that leave you feeling uncertain or disconnected

  • Navigating identity, sexuality, or feeling safe to be your authentic self

  • A difficult relationship with your body, food, or self-image

  • Feeling emotionally reactive, easily overwhelmed, or shutting down during stress

  • Living in survival mode and wanting to feel calmer, more grounded, and more like yourself again

Perinatal Mental Health Counselling

Motherhood can be beautiful, meaningful, and incredibly hard—all at the same time.

You may love your baby deeply and still feel overwhelmed, anxious, lonely, or unsure of who you are now.

Perhaps you expected this season to feel different. Maybe you're grieving your old life, struggling with the invisible mental load, feeling disconnected from your partner, or wondering why everyone else seems to be coping more easily.

Whether you're trying to conceive, pregnant, newly postpartum, or parenting young children, you deserve support without judgment.

Together, we can explore experiences such as:

  • Feeling unlike yourself during pregnancy or after your baby arrives

  • Worrying constantly about your baby, your health, or whether you're doing enough

  • Feeling overwhelmed by how much life has changed

  • Mourning the loss of independence or your previous identity

  • Navigating changing relationships with your partner, family, or friends

  • Setting boundaries with well-meaning but overwhelming family members

  • Feeling unsupported or carrying more of the parenting responsibilities than feels manageable

  • Rebuilding intimacy and connection with your partner

  • Feeling sad, irritable, emotionally disconnected, or numb

  • Wondering if what you're experiencing is "normal" and feeling afraid to talk about it

  • Adjusting to the ongoing transitions that come with motherhood

You don't need to have the "right" words before starting counselling.

Many women come to therapy simply knowing that something doesn't feel right anymore. Together, we'll make sense of what you're carrying, explore what's keeping you stuck, and I'll help you move toward feeling more connected, confident, and grounded in yourself.
