ABOUT ME

My Story & Lived Experience

Motherhood changed my life in ways I never expected. Becoming a mother during the pandemic deepened my understanding of identity, burnout, anxiety, and the emotional challenges that can accompany pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting. It also showed me the profound difference compassionate support can make during life's most vulnerable seasons.

As a mother of two young children, I understand that motherhood can be both deeply meaningful and incredibly overwhelming. My lived experience allows me to connect with clients in a genuine and authentic way, while my clinical training ensures our work together is grounded in evidence-based care.

Supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and the many transitions of motherhood has become both my professional focus and my greatest passion.

My Therapeutic Approach

I believe healing begins when you feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

I approach counselling as someone walking alongside you—not telling you what to do, but helping you make sense of your experiences, discover your strengths, and create meaningful change. Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work because lasting healing happens when we feel safe enough to be ourselves.

My practice is person-centred, trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. Together,

we'll explore the patterns, beliefs, emotions, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck while developing practical tools that support lasting emotional wellness.

Although our past shapes us, it does not have to define our future.

Working Together: What You Can Expect

Counselling with me is warm, supportive, and free from judgment.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, postpartum depression, stress, motherhood, grief, burnout, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, or a major life transition, you'll have a space where you don't have to carry everything alone.

Together we will:

  • Explore your experiences with curiosity and compassion.

  • Develop practical coping strategies that fit your life.

  • Build emotional resilience and self-confidence.

  • Strengthen self-compassion and reconnect with your values.

  • Move toward healing at a pace that feels right for you.

I believe change isn't linear. There will be moments of growth, setbacks, uncertainty, and celebration—and I'll be there to support you through all of it.

My Values & Philosophy

Every person has a story worth telling. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to take risks, and empowered enough to believe they are worthy of something different.

Healing doesn't mean becoming someone new—it means reconnecting with the person you've always been beneath the stress, expectations, and overwhelm.

You are worthy of support, healing, growth, and compassion.
